Objective
I am looking for an opportunity to continue my career with a company focused on developing client based services in property development, management or construction based services. I excel in positions related to engineering, contract administration, and project/property management.
Professional Profile
Most of my career has involved working with large groups of people in a project setting. I am well adept in building relationships and developing a healthy team culture necessary for successful projects. I attribute my success to the attention I place on developing trust between my clients and the contractors I have managed.
Gaining trust and maintaining it depends on understanding the details behind issues and finding fair and reasonable solutions that benefit all parties. I excel in managing through unexpected issues solving problems in a timely fashion and negotiating compensations fairly. While my experience has been gained primarily through managing construction projects, I feel my understanding of contracts and building systems lends itself to property management and development as well.
I have extensive computer skills, working on multiple different “construction management” systems and am able to adapt to new systems quickly.
I have been fortunate throughout my career to work for companies that are innovative and adapt to their industry and local market conditions. This includes the trend to employ sustainable practices in the work place. I am personally pursuing LEED Professional certification to better position myself with the evolution of the industry. I have an understanding of the requirements to obtain LEED certification of buildings and how to evaluate the pros and cons for each specific project.
